After wanting to shoot this kind of thing for a long time, me and Xenia managed to find a quick hour in a very busy weekend to do it... I got everything packed, even packed my lights and things (a rarity for me, I just love natural light) and we rushed out to the location to get this all done. Then we encountered a bit of a problem... Whilst grabbing everything I could think of, I forgot the actual camera...
As it turned out, it was actually a revelation. We shot this whole set on her phone and it probably gave us more than we ever would have got from the camera... the style fits perfectly, and I don't have to spend hours and hours editing each shot. It's sometimes so freeing to not have to think about settings and things and just focus on the moment and have a much more relaxed approach. I actually want to do this more now. As ever, Xenia nailed it every single time... so it's no wonder it all worked out okay. This is a rarity for me, in that I've basically shared every single photo from the set. I absolutely love how it's imperfect, tells a story and is just exactly what we did in the moment, I hope you all like it too.
